Zoo Tycoon Bonus Animals-Original Zoo Tycoon

A bit of a long shot this I know you shouldn't believe everything you read on wikipedia, but I was trawling through and re-read that, apparently, there are a number of "bonus animals" to be had, such as llama, tapir and couger.

I haven't got any game booklets, so I don't know if these animals really do exist. However, if they do, does anyone who ever played the original Zoo Tycoon know how or where to unlock them?

I saw them too I'd love to have the unicorns. How do you get them (if they really do exist)?

 

Just name one of the exhibits "Xanadu"

I presume multiple exibit naming/breeding herd of unicorns, or are they a one off like killer penguins?

 

Just naming one enclosure unlocks the unicorn for purchase...and yes you can have your own herd.

 

Those bonus animals you talked about are in the CC collection and are downloadable.

Which you can do through the game.

 

how do you get sable antilope?

 

Cat-Man; as far as I know, I've only ever seen (Giant) Sable Antelope in Zoo Tycoon 2, and you get them when you have the Endangered Species pack.

I know you can get giants on zt 2, but the wiki artical said you can get it on the first one

 

I think it is one of the animals that were a part of the complete collection. However, i never got this edition, so I can't confirm it.

 

No, with the cc collection you get the additional bonus endangered animals pack.

Try sereaching on one of the fan site, they will have it somewhere. THe official site has since gone

 

Sable Antelope are in Zoo Tycoon 1.

 

My game glitches whenever I try to get the unicorns Still, least I have quagga in ZT 2

Are the sable antelope unlockable in the original ZT? I presume that where you get the llamas, Malaysian tapirs, etc from too. I've done five of those challenge games today already, and bugger all's come up.

Hey Jacobea, don't name a new exhibit 'Xanadu'. You have to name it "Exhibit X" or whatever number it is, then rename it to Xanadu afterwards.
