I’d like to invite you to join me Wednesday, March 6 at 7 p.m. at the Tenley-Friendship Neighborhood Library in Washington, D.C. as I talk about my book Raising America’s Zoo: How Two Wild Gorillas Helped Transform the National Zoo. This unique story shares the heartbreaks and triumphs of the National Zoo's first family of gorillas and their caregivers as the zoo transitioned from an antiquated animal park to an internationally-respected animal conservation center.

This author talk will take place at the Tenley-Friendship Neighborhood Library, 4450 Wisconsin Ave., NW, Washington, D.C. from 7 to 8:30 p.m. This is a free event and no reservations are needed. For more information, visit www.RaisingAmericasZoo.com and www.FriendsOfTenleyLibrary.org.

    Much appreciation,
    Kara Arundel
