Mesker Park Zoo and Botanic Garden Bovid identification

    Shame on me for not reading the sign... can anyone identify this Asian bovid? [​IMG]

    Guesstimate of probably 1.5-3 ft shoulder height.

    There's an Indian peafowl in the background for scale.

    Definitely a Takin, looks like Sichuan Takin to me,

    It is a Sichuan takin Budorcas taxicolor tibetana, mate! These goat antelope roam the Himalayans and Eastern Asian Himalayan mountain ranges of India, Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar and China.
