A landmark in small carnivore conservation was broadcast by the BBC when two Owston's civets bred in the UK at Newquay Zoo returned to Vietnam.

One male from Newquay Zoo and its brother from Shaldon Wildlife Trust have arrived safely in Cuc Phuong National Park at The Carnivore and Pangolin Conservation Program (CPCP). This is the result of a 14 year collaboration to conserve this beautiful species. A new male from the centre will be sent to the UK later in the year. :)
