    sorry for going off topic but can some one please tell me why the king cobra is white and the picture on the map is black?

    I am one of the oldest animals in the zoo. Sinister in my appearance and habits; looking rather odd among the pretty animals the run and walk around me.

    wow that's tough, maybe indian rhino? and when you say oldest, do you mean in age or how long the animal has been there for?

    Age, and it is not a rhino or hyena.
    It is the only one of its species now at the zoo, but at one time there was at least 4 of them. He is the only one of his species but at least 3 other species lives with it, and two of those species are in large numbers. And he truly is the ugly one of the exhibit.

    The other animals with the nyala and marabou stork are grey crowned crane and indian peafowl. I think this year I saw spur winged geese too. Unofficially the slender horned gazelle share a side yard to the same exhibit and I am curious why the Nyala and gazelle cannot be exhibited together.
