I wonder what next year will hold for Brookfield. (I am hoping for a public exhibit of Togo Slippery Frogs.)

Some upcoming 2018 activities that I'm aware of will include:

Lowland tapirs will be introduced in the pachyderm building.
More pangolins going on exhibit, possibly even babies.
The pygmy loris exhibit finally getting those ugly barriers removed.
The possible birth of a polar bear cub(s).

@birdsandbats I doubt the frogs will go on exhibit any time soon. I presume they are just here for breeding, similar to the pekin robins. I would be ecstatic to be proven wrong though.

Hopefully there will be some dolphin news in 2018. It seems about time to bring in a male for breeding.

This is my zoo, I really appreciate you taking the time to post this for us!
Do we know what was the cause of death for the three sea lions in so short a time?

Visited today and there are no cockatiels in the parakeet encounter.
If they were ever there, looks like they were not kept there long.

Don't know the cause of death from Kodiak. Zuma and Bailey were age-related.
