For the first time ever the zoo will be welcoming gerenuk antelope. They will be on exhibit in April or May.

The zoo is getting two males. One from San Diego Zoo and one from Miami MetroZoo. They are both approximately 1 1/2 years old. All this information was in the zoo's Gateway magazine for memembers.

Tropic World South America now has about a dozen Squirrel Monkey's. After a lengthy absence the zoos Caracals are back on exhibit (mesh netting has been added to the front of the exhibit). Habitat Africa The Forest is currently building an outdoor enclosure for their Red Backed Duiker and Royal Antelope.

A new wombat joey is cool. It's older sister Matilba just recently moved to Toronto and shes starting to really get along with our young wild born male Arthur. Hopefully we will have a wombat joey in another year or so.

Do you have any photos of the new arrival?
