Are there any history books on the Brookfield Zoo that covers Tropic World? The Images of America features them but some of it can be found online - none of the contents discussed Tropic World's history. If these line of storms cancels my Florida trip, I will taking a trip to Chicago, and I want to do a documentary feature on my favorite zoo exhibit.

I’m currently in a process of redoing a good portion of the channel. A Lincoln Park Zoo video *might* be out next week, but don’t expect much for the next couple of months.

Let the Lions Roar!: The Evolution of Brookfield Zoo covers Tropic World's long development intermittently, from well before construction began all the way through to the addition of the Primate's Journey signage in the mid-'90's. Covers a variety of incidents including the escape of some exotic birds from one of the zoo's last collecting trips.

    (Sorry for the late response.)

The zootube will return this April with new content and a shiny new name. Stay tuned!
