Locals say this many budgies haven't been seen in Central Oz for at least a decade - twitchers keeping location a secret but those who's experienced this half hour of power say it's mind blowing. Not a birder so didn't realise budgies were native (shame) - wild ones much smaller than domestic ones apparently.

    Wow! Budgie smoke :)
Can you imagine 10000 budgies all saying 'Who's a pretty boy?' (or 'Who's a pretty girl?' of course) as they fly in formation? :D

I use to breed and train budgies up until last year! wonderful...wonderful animals ( and SMART )

Wild budgies are smaller then domestic american budgies, and then english or show budgies are almost triple the size of them!
