Absolutely disgusting website, and it's sad that such organizations are still in existence. In North America I could purchase an entire menagerie for a few thousand dollars.

either way, scam or not its truly uphorrid, its like those disgusting resturants that sell exoctic animals to endangered ones! Why one earth would you want to buy a tiger anyway, anyone in there right mind I think that should be buying one is zoos, using them for breeding programs,

    Friendly perhaps but totally harmless!

One would like to hope that this is just a bad and tasteless joke. However, as I have pointed out in a another thread, http://www.zoobeat.com/65/lack-animal-protection-laws-usa-24944/, it seems to be pefectly legal in at least some parts of The USA to keep tigers etc as "pets". I recall having read somewhere that there are "more tigers in Texas than in India" - indicating that a few thousands of tigers are actually being kept as private "pets" in backyards in this US state, alone. Nothing that I can prove of course, but let´s agree that the mere possibility of this being true is disturbing.

oh, its true. One of them got loose on Galveston Island in Hurricane Ike and a lion was sheltered in a church by its owner seeking refuge from the storm

There is certainly plenty of indiscriminate breeding going on. There are also large numbers of White Tigers being produced, nearly all are 'mongrels' with mixed Indian/Siberian ancestry. Because of the inbreeding involved, some of the 'whites' are now showing serious deformities- I have seen photos of 'pug-faced' white tigers, needless to say these ones are usually kept out of sight or put down.

oh but dont worry every one they asure us that they only sell tigers that have been "This is for true nature lovers and purists, and it comes 5 months old, already trained to be nice with its owner, to eat meat and respond to basilar voice orders."

also why do hey only sell female tigers?

Perhpas mostly, that male tigers are more so aggresive and larger and harder to tame? Which is the most case with a lot of species, but I dont actually know,

The municipal bye-laws are generally very lax here regarding the sale of animals from pet store and the condition of the store and animals. A local town councilor was able to get a pet store closed but he went to the next town and opened another one. He didn't sell tigers though all small animals.
There are far to many farms being turned into private zoos.
Hope this is not off topic.:)
