Muchas gracias estimado Chli, for posting the links on the california condors in chapultepec here.
As i said somewhere else, considering the great success of the binational conservation programs between Mexico and the US for lobos or mexican wolves, california condors and peninsular pronghorn it is strange that there are no binational breeding programs between Canada and the US for species like polar bears or walrus.

Hello carlos55, an unexpectedly soon success for the program and nice to learn that both pairs of produced offspring already.

Any indication that the involvement of more Mexican zoos in the Programa Binacional is contemplated?

At this moment, it seems that no other zoo apart from Chapultepec will recieve california condors. The only other zoo with space and experience to recieve them would be Africam Safari Puebla which is AZA accredited. It could happen, due to the great success of the binational california condor program so far.
