Do you know if Campbell's and Lowe's are kept together. I have photographs from Jihlava in 2010 and I"m not sure which species it is.

@Giant Eland the three animals are all in the same enclosure (near the entrance) and all belong to different taxa; as far as I know it's a mixed pair of Lowe's and Campbell's, with a hybrid young. I do remember noticing a few morphological differences when at the enclosure, but now, a year later and without the animals in front me or reliable photographs to base it on, I honestly couldn't tell you which is which.

I'll see if I can root out my photographs from Jihlava and upload a few for the purposes of comparison, as I *did* manage to work out which were which at the time.

    2,1 in fact - 1,0 pure Lowe's, 0,1 pure Campbell's and 1,0 hybrid.

If I recall the timeline correctly, 1,1 Lowe's arrived in 2002 (identified at the time as Campbell's) and when the 0,1 died in 2009 Chester sent their final 0,2 Campbell's to Jihlava to hopefully form another pair.

Not sure which happened first, but in 2011 a male hybrid was born and one of the Campbell's died.
