Leipzig: - Giant otter, White-faced saki, Silvery marmoset - Indian Sloth bear, Rhesus macaque - Southern cheetah, Black rhino - Maned wolf, Giant antester (planned) - White-nosed coati, Tagua (planned)
I wouldn't give much for the chances of Saki or Marmoset if they end up on the floor with Giant Otters. Sorry, Coati with what?
Gray and Red fox at Turtle Bay Exploration Park, as well as Striped Skunk/North American Porcupine. Fennec Fox and Aardvark at Sacramento Zoo. Never seen this, but I often hear of Maned Wolves being kept with other species.
The Dallas Zoo has meerkats with leopard tortoise, and common dwarf mongoose with trumpeter hornbills (used to be Jackson's hornbills, but they were relocated). The Houston Zoo has Asian small-clawed otters with a blue-bellied roller and a Prevost's squirrel. I'm pretty sure they have maned wolves with giant anteaters, and they used to have a crested porcupine mixed in with their banded mongoose. The Oklahoma City Zoo has California sea lions mixed with harbor seals. The San Antonio Zoo has Asian small-clawed otters with Northern white-cheeked gibbons. I believe they also have a kinkajou with a nine-banded armadillo. The Fort Worth Zoo used to have a North American porcupine mixed with their pair of ringtails.
One mixed carnivore exhibit I have heard about here on Zoochat (not seen a photo of the exhibit however) is at Oasys Parque Desierto de Tabernas in Spain for Ruppell's sand and Blanford's foxes. This is the only place in Europe where either species is kept.
How do cheetahs and rhinos work? Do the cheetahs just stay away from the rhinos and don’t attempt to attack sick or baby rhinos. Or are the rhinos just too big?
I'd wager any breeding would have them separated from each other, similarly any sick animal might well be separated from the group. So chances are the cheeetah never sees a young/sick rhino. Asides I'd wager the greater risk is for the cheetah rather than the rhino. Cheetah are predators, but a rhino is a tank and I'd wager just way too much deadly power for a cheetah to bother with. If the cats are also well fed then chances are whilst they still have their hunting drive, they don't have the desperation to try risking something way beyond their ability Heck who knows perhaps the cheetah uses the rhino as a spotting post (ala how they treat most cars in Africa )
skansen akvaritt in stockolm had white heded saki withe crocdiles i think it was cuban.it dident end well
Does anyone know more about the individuals and breeeding in this exhibit? Have the raccoons bred after the mink was introduced? When the mix was initiated in mid-2016, they started with a single male European mink (not female, as suggested by 0.1 lising in zootierliste) and this was the status about half a year later when I visited. If the initial mix was a success it was planned that a female should be added for attempting breeding (see Gefährdeter Nerz zieht in Zoo Heidelberg! [German]). Has any of this happened?

The lion-mongoose project of Antwerp started in 2011 or 2012. I know one yellow mongoose got killed by a lion, but I don't know the fate of the other yellow mongooses and meerkats. My last visit to the zoo was three years ago, but I don't remember if lions and mongooses still lived together at that moment.
Aquazoo Friesland have Red panda's and asian small clawed otters in mixed exhibits, they also have a mixed outdoor enclosure for giant otters and white faced saki's. (however these saki's dont come outside)
