Berlin Tierpark Chacoan peccaries, welcome back to Europe

    A major new arrival, not just for the Tierpark, but for the whole of Europe is the import of 2.5 Chacoan peccaries from the USA.
    The animals arrived in Berlin, in March and came from animals from the breeding groups in Los Angeles, San Diego, Phoenix and Sedgwick.

    Big news indeed. Hopefully the first of many European zoos with Chacoans over the coming years!

    wooooooo! It doesn't affect me at all where I am waaay on the other side of the world, but so exciting for you guys!! I am jealous.

    Great news! They are very underrated animals, so I'm glad that you guys in Europe will be able to enjoy them as much as I do.

    Congrats! They're on of my favorite animals, so I'm happy you guys get to see them too now!
