There a couple of armadillos in with the squirrel monkeys.

The Theme Park and Zoo (outdoor attractions) reopened this week.

on the zoo side the SeaLife building and gorilla exhibits are not expected to reopen until the next (May) stage of the Covid roadmap.

Some coatis were there , a couple (probably temporarily) in the Trail of the Kings area and four settling in the Theme Park Rainforest area between the Tortoise and Capybara where they have various areas to roam.

This means the Caracal is currently in one of the two enclosures that the Serval had. ( So Caracal in front and Serval in rear).

A few changes in the Wanyama Village area, The old central smaller meerkat area has been taken out and a children’s climbing play area established.
The Dik-Dik seem comfortably settled in the next central enclosure that used to have the Gentle-lemurs . Their old area now has been adapted for a Crane enclosure . Looks like there were a couple of Black crowned cranes present.

Has Dozer the White Rhino passed away? I have just looked on The Rhinos Of The World website. While scrolling through the Rhinos within the U.K section, I went to the Chessington page. The Chessington section only listed Gyasi and Kanty when previously it listed Dozer,Kanty and Gyasi.

@gabryatfendor that's weird that Dozer is not listed on Rhinos Of The World. I will double check Rhinos Of The World.

I believe that there are just two rhinos.

Khari the Giraffe arrived from Whipsnade and I just spoken to a colleague who works at Chessington and she gave me the update about him. "He is doing really well!! Settled in really nicely and the other boys have warmed to him well. Keeping us keepers on our toes but being adorable whilst doing it".

Got some big news for you to hear. Well lately my mother has unfortunately been unwell for months now and back in June she was admitted to the Hospital in Eastbourne and sadly the holiday at Norman's Bay did not go well. As me and my brother Jordan have been looking after her so well and kindly she gave us a treat and on the 15th September which is Wednesday Me and my brother are once again going to Chessington World of Adventures Resort and last time I went there it was with Social Link but this time it's been swapped for Mum. Last time I was there I have not been able to do Land of the Tigers and that was because I was stuck in the queue to get on Dragon's Fury

Can't wait to go back to Chessington for the 5th Time and yesterday I have spoken to a colleague who works at Chessington and she gave me the timetable for the Sealion Show. " Be sure to come to one of our shows at 12:00 or 15:00! Hope you have a lovely day".

Remember I went to Chessington last month and also remember Khari has been moved from Whipsnade last summer. Well when I went to see him he was doing amazingly well as he got on with the Rothschild's Giraffe and Scimitar Horned Oryx on the ZUFARI
