I don't know if this has been mentioned yet but according to Zootierliste Chessington now have a pair of Clouded leopards in the Trail of the Kings exhibit. Anyone know when these arrived?

Wonder if these are to replace the Fossa, their enclosure was empty at the beginning of 2018

The 2 female clouded leopards arrived in Chessington in March 2018 and have been in the old Fossa enclosures for several months .
both Kanya {b March 2012) and Taevey (b April 2013) were born at Howletts.

So they now hold (in terms of cats) Sumatran Tigers, Amur Tiger, Asian Lions, Clouded Leopard, Ocelot, Serval & Caracal?

I think so, as well as Carpathian Lynx last time I checked.
    Is the Caracal off show?

The caracal are on show but not greatly visible. They are behind the serval.

I thought the lynx left the collection as they were held in where the servals/caracals now are but could be wrong?

This afternoon catwise there were 2 Sumatran tigers , 2 Asiatic lions, 1 Serval,1 Caracal, 2 clouded leopards in the Trail of Kings area ( the 4 Amur tigers are at the other end of the park so typically are on public display when the full theme park is open in March -October).

Was this before or after two Sumatran tigers went to Shepreth? Do Chessington still have Sumatrans now?

My post reflected the cats on the afternoon of 20 Feb. Ratna and Kelabu I believe moved at the end of Feb so after my most recent visit.
Park has training or private events this weekend so not open for casual visits.

Shepreth's enclosure has no facilities for introducing individual Tigers. Hence they won't be offered a breeding pair until its modified or replaced.

A few changes in the Trail of the Kings area..
The Caracal is now in an onshow enclosure (the one previously housing the binturongs who have moved to the empty enclosure last used for the ocelot). Looks like the serval probably has access to her original front enclosure and the back enclosure where the Caracal was. (The former Sumatran Tiger enclosure obviously empty due to their departure to Shepreth).
The Amur Tigers in the theme park Tiger Rock area were back on show.

Zootierliste still says they have ocelot but if binturongs are into the ocelot enclosure is it off-show?
