You wouldn't. I don't think Chester have ever had this species (bongorob will correct me if I'm wrong ;)). I am fairly sure that photo was taken at Bristol.

Unless there is something I don't know, you would not find them in Chester zoo. As far as I am aware they do not have inca terns.

You are correct GentleLemur, it looks like Bristol to me also.

Well thanks @bongorob you know lots about Chester's collection I had a look at some of the old images from 2007 and it's amazing how the collection has progressed Cannot wait to see how it goes further next year.

I've just looked a my photos and of course, you're both correct, they're wolverines. I've no idea how I've managed to confuse the two, so apologies to all.

Well it looks to me as if Chester is soon to make an announcement about its Palawan Binturongs based on this tweet:

    Chester Zoo on Twitter

However, what makes this sub species different other than its size that we have already talked about? Is it more endangered?

I don't know how reliable this information is but I was talking to someone in the sales team who said that one calf was expected in December and the other in January.

No I was last there about six months ago. I've been holding off in the hope of going once both calves have been born. However, I was given those dates when I spoke to someone from Chester via email at the beginning of October...

@Charlie Simmomds I would trust what was said in the Chimpanzees in the UK thread re Kiki's death. Andy B knows his stuff when it comes to chimpanzees and the only way he would know about this is if he was told by a member of staff.

Tonight's episode of Secret Life Of The Zoo confirmed that female Bornean Orang, Sarikei is pregnant with male, Willie who came from Apenhuel in 2014 as the dad. It is expected in late spring 2017.
