    As long as it is out. Next year will be far more interesting.

    Well there has already been some since the start of the year, Tree kangaroo being the biggest we know of!

    None of our exhibits are actual live specimens - they are all animatronics imported from the USA.

    It's looking good in islands, the new aviary is starting to take shape.

    Staff are training the Malaysian Tapirs to enter a horse box in preparation for the move.

    How sad. But with two successful giraffe births, I guess the zoo can't complain.

    I have just been scrolling through Zootierliste today and found a couple of changes had been made on the Chester list. I have found out that Chester no longer holds Blue-Headed Macaws and Red-Fronted Lemurs. Can anyone confirm this?

    Thanks. I have just read that the lemurs have moved to Northumbria Zoo.

    It's Northumberland Zoo, I made a mistake. I'll get it corrected. There may be more animals removed from Chester now that I've started to get things organised.

    No the Lemurs have moved to Northumberland Country Zoo which used to be called Eshotteugh Animal Park.!

    That is very nice to know. I have never been to the nature reserve. Is it worth visiting?
