The zoo received a 34 year old female orangutan, named Alex, to act as a companion for Henry.

0.2 Black Howler Monkey went out on exhibit today in Jungle Trails. They are a mother-daughter pair named "Helen" and "Hayden"

Will they add on a male to start a breeding combo?

    Couple of notable changes.
In Wings of the World, the chestnut breasted malkoha is now in the outdoor cage by the entrance - replacing the yellow billed Hornbill. The fairy bluebirds that near coexisted with the malkoha now take up both exhibits inside. Australasia is closed once more for the same reason that the Grasslands exhibit is half covered - new animals.

I went to the zoo to get a video of Manatee Springs but ended up getting the greatest video I will most likely ever make. And fortunately it's of the zoo's greatest exhibit - Jungle Trails. I got multiple clips of very active primates, including the new black howlers. The outdoor birds are finally on exhibit. Except the Black cockatoo and the scarlet Macaw are not. Leaving the victoria crowned pigeons in the first trail and the helmeted curassow in the second. The feather tail glider exhibit is still completely emptied out and the second Loris is still in the former genet exhibit.

Currently walking through Rhino Reserve and still no black rhino takes up the smaller exhibit.

Tomorrow night. I spent 3 hours on it but I'm only 6 minutes in and 1/3 of the way done. I'm adding many new elements, including background animal sounds (in this case a rainforest soundtrack), and a new dramatic introduction. So it will take some more doing.

I was wondering why I didn't see her a couple of days ago. When she was moved into the bird house I never missed her on a single visit.

So as I mentioned I will be going to the zoo, but now there is a set date. I am going on Monday! I will be visiting at least 5 more zoos by the end of this year and I plan on making a review page so I can review every zoo I go to without making a surplus of forums. That being said are there any requests for anything I should photograph or look out for?

The first photos of the black howlers would be nice. I got a great shot framing wise but the lighting was poor. Oh yeah, and the baby okapi, as I have only ever seen him once.

Does the zoo have white-naped pheasant-pigeons (if so, where?) or just green-naped?
