Night hunters, jungle trail building, wolfwoods, wings of the world, education discovery (sloth exhibit) and all aviary areas are still closed as of July 4th.

Many on the membership Facebook page are saying next month. There's too much vegetation in the way to take a decent photo of the construction. From what I can see the sod and path in the kangaroo exhibit are complete, and the rope course is just about done. Only thing left is finishing the back fencing and cleaning up underneath the rope course.

Don't know if they're new animals or not but at least one species from Wildlife Canyon was apparently saved - Visayan warty pigs are now in the Indian rhino exhibit!

Doesn’t the Cincinnati zoo though currently have an Indian rhino?

They've been saved, as somewhere in the forum someone said that they were sent off to Mast Farm ;) :).

They are the same 3 boys that lived in Wildlife Canyon, they've been living off exhibit in Veldt

I think it's worth noting that Cincinnati also has some old bonobos as well. Vernon was wild-caught in 1970, but is still reproducing fifty years later! Lana was born in 1979.

It's hard to believe the baby is already here. It feels like it was yesterday that they announced Kesi was pregnant.

I don't like how the article says the bonobo is a type of chimpanzee.
