Excellent. I believe it was like 10 years ago that they had them in the rainforest building. I am glad they are returning.

A baby crowned lemur was born and is now on display at the PCA Building.

I am glad clouded leopards are returning to CMZ's collection, but I wish they would get a better exhibit than their old one in the Rain Forest (or the one in PCA where they were for years before that). The Rain Forest exhibit is too small and lacks any meaningful vertical space.

In the summer edition of the Z magazine, it mentions "in late spring, a 9-month-old male clouded leopard came to Cleveland, and he will take up residence in The Rainforest."

Snow leopard cubs debuted in PCA and the Aldabra tortoises are now outside.

I have not heard if they have finished the enclosing of the outdoor gorilla exhibit. That project was tied to the Welcome Pavilion.

Takin are in the old camel exhibit. Onagers are on the other side of the tufted deer which is by the entrances.

Interesting just because we rarely mention the Rainforest but I also applaud the CMZ for being proactive with it. The building and exhibits are showing their ages a bit and I'm sure many of the stats that they have on there are dated. Technology has come a long way since 1992 so I'm sure the Rainforest is full of great potential because it already is a real solid exhibit space. (Although I would love for an anaconda to make an appearance.)

The Asian Highlands looks like a very cool exhibit! I cannot wait to check it out for myself. Definitely giving a better overall habitat for those animals and continuing to enhance the Wilderness trek area.
