This year the zoo will open new enclosures for chimpanzees and bush dogs.

Not news! Another one at it!! See the London thread....

Ok, I'll post a couple of things I observed today, but I'll have to check they weren't posted on last year's first!

    Can't see these elsewhere :

A new male l'hoest monkey is currently held in half of the indoor Patas monkey enclosure. The current male will be leaving.

The young Pileated Gibbon has been moved to the indoor area in 'wilds of asia' which previously held Victoria Crowned Pigeons (tamandua before that), there appears to be a link to the outdoor gibbon enclosure.

The tamarin enclosure next to the Scarlet Ibis, is now a THIRD squirrel monkey area! This along with 4 isolated areas for komodo dragons, is now beginning to be annoying!

Bush dog enclosure some way of completion, couldn't see any indoor area built. It appears it can be viewed from above on the platforms to & from the road train.

May not be news, but if the enclosures are due to open in 2017 then surely they are still relevant to the 2017 thread.

No it was just an excuse to open a new thread. The Chimp enclosure has been being built for over a year & bush dogs for some time too! That isn't news in my book & too many people are opening pointless threads without news! Your Dudley one at least had something new in it, none of the others so far have!
Correction - S lakes did too!

So far 7 new UK threads have been opened & only 2 had any 'news' from the creator of the thread!!

See my message to these people in the London 2017 thread...

Thank goodness a Chester one hasn't been made, with news on the Sun bear exhibits and Tapirs coming to Islands yet!

At least the Chester members get it! It's obviously a disease of the South!!

Sorry banham.tiger. All you wanted to do was open a news/ discussion thread about Colchester zoo in 2017, but it appears to have quickly turned into utter drivel.
