Due to approaching bushfires, Cooberrie Park (a wildlife park in central Queensland) was temporarily evacuated and their collection of 150 animals (including marmosets) was transported to safer grounds last Saturday night.
Fortunately, all of the animals were able to return back to the wildlife park 48 hours later as the nearby fire was controlled.
Cooberrie Park is monitoring the fire emergency in case of further evacuations.
