The old Elephant House has already been demolished :(

The baby was also not on show on my visit this weekend. As in, it was not in any of the spaces viewable by the public.

It was in the outside enclosure Saturday afternoon, with it's mother and aunt.

2.5 year old male rhino Pilan has been moved to Safaripark Beekse Bergen in the Netherlands. Two new rhino calfs are expected in Copenhagen within the few next months.

Have the rhinos been moved back to the Savannah yet, or are they still in the elephant house?

They have moved back to the savannah. With a new entrance for the public into their house, where there are now also porcupines and meerkats.

Well there goes my joy of Copenhagen being the only zoo I visit that doesn't have meerkats :(

Yes, he says that two new male devils have arrived from Australia (he doesn't say from which zoo) to provide new blood, as many of the devils in Copenhagen are now related to each other. They will be in quarantine for maybe a month, then they will be introduced to the young group, and then later (probably in 2018) to some females.
