    Yes, of the genus Francolinus the closest I could find was a female Chinese francolin, but it really didn't look the same, yet it was still my answer just in case.

    Congrats @lintworm, and thanks for introducing Zingels to me!

    I was absolutely nowhere near with my answer for S. I said Squalidus spp. :D
    I thought that some were your photos because they were way too good to be from Google search and I couldn't find any of the photos via google search. :)

    @gentle lemur Thank you for making such a nice quiz again and I am honoured that I won. As a non-native speaker I might have had an advantage, as I am used to switching between Dutch, English and German species names constantly, I generally pay a lot of attention to scientific names.

    The "prize money" arrived from England and I decided to double it, so via this quiz we ended up donating 66 euros to Taman Indonesia, which is my favourite small zoo in the Netherlands.
