The female sifaka lemur has died -leaving the male and 1 male offspring.
A new male sifaka has arrived and can be seen in the enclosure beside the black and white colobus monkey.. He will be placed in the lemur walk thru exhibit when he has settled in.
The reindeer have been moved back to the field with the llama as you enter CWP. They did not settle in the wooded area by the European Wolves and walked around continuously

Went to Cotswold Wildlife Park yesterday.

South Cassowary is now on show in the woodland walk, just before the Wolves.

Male Sifaka is in the walkthrough Lemur section. They are no longer planning to breed anymore Ring Tail Lemurs from their current male and he has now been castrated.

New exhibit for Six Banded Armadillos is being built outside the Tropical House in the Walled Garden.

Long Nose Potoroo (a pair) can now be seen in the Tropical House with the Sloth's and Bats.

Ostrich's have been moved from paddock as you enter the Zoo. Reindeer in the other paddock near the entrance.

Reticulated Python is currently off show.

Sadly the Black Mamba has passed away, leaving an empty exhibit in the Reptile House.

There appears to now be 5 Wolverine's, was only 4 the last time I visited.

 

According to Twitter - Hammerhead Fruit Bats are now in the Little Africa building:

Now that's an addition!

 

1/Buddy , the Great Indian Hornbill has been moved to a zoo in the Netherlands as part of the European Breeding Programme for the species.. New hornbills will be exhibited in the enclosure soon.
2/ Also in the walled garden the new building and enclosure nearly completed will house Southern Tamandua.
3/In the Little Africa building -straw coloured fruit bats have joined the Hammer - Headed fruit bats.. Small Leopard tortoises have replaced the reptile exhibit.

 

We also visited recently and there was some activity going on next to the Red Panda enclosure - could have just been landscaping though, there was no one around to ask.Good news re the Tamadua - saw that enclosure going up and wondered what it would be for.
