Yeah, but it is Florida, one always needs to assume they are there. They have a way of moving around easily. I have seen them in drainage ditches, ponds, lakes - even my three side enclosed garbage area at my house (not on water). They may have removed them, and they may keep a close eye out for more - but they are there.
Clearly they have done an extremely good job of removing them though - just look at how few iNaturalist observations of them there are within the parks. I think the chances of a visitor to Disney encountering an alligator on the park grounds are very, very low, even if they are common just outside the park.
This is purely anecdotal, but I will say that I did not see a single American Alligator when at Disney this February.
It’s been a few years but last time I went they had some on display on the Living With The Land ride in EPCOT.
Does anyone know if the W. African Dwarf Crocodiles at the Bronx Zoo were on display before and if so where? I cannot remember from the last time I was there.
A few updates I noticed, Bronx doesn’t have false gharial anymore (and seemingly neither does Pittsburgh even though they still sign them), and maritime aquarium has a Cuvier’s dwarf caiman
Per @PSO 's species list, Reptile Lagoon now keeps American crocodile, while no longer keeps freshwater crocodile.
