I've never heard of it before.

The animals are there, it seems, to draw folk to the farm shop and tea rooms.

Coati, meerkat, raccoon, blue and yellow macaw, European eagle owl, bearded dragon.

Since this place is less than three miles away from Tropiquaria, I'm not sure if I support any further expansion into a zoo (it appears only to have diversified as such since 2012). And I'm not sure there is a market for another zoo in this area either.

1.5 million seems like an awful lot. I'm guessing the price is largely due to the "seven bedroom 15th Century Grade II listed farmhouse with views across the Bristol Channel to Steepholme and Wales. The house and site are of historical interest with an old water wheel and ancient monument lime kiln, Victorian walled garden and numerous traditional farm buildings."

When they say "turnover currently stands at £442,000" does that mean total income from the 70,000 visitors, or profit after costs? Because it doesn't sound like a lot for total income.
