Does anyone know what this book was? I read it as a kid in the 2000’s (and it was already a decade old at least). It was a compilation of stories from zoos in England, Scotland and Ireland. The stories included: Asian elephant (Jubilee) at Chester Zoo Tigers (Ben and Sabrina) at Glasgow Zoo Western lowland gorilla (Jambo) at Jersey Zoo California sea lions (Chariot, Arseno and something else beginning with A) at Belfast Zoo A Kinkajou called Jou Jou (I can’t remember what zoo) Camels at Blackpool Zoo
The book is entitled ‘Zoo Tails: True Stories of Britain’s Zoo Animals’. It was compiled by Jo Buckley and published by Planet Books in 1988. The ISBN is 1-85227-095-0.
