Hi everyone ! it's my first post here (and i've been waitng for soo long to do it) , so , one of my obsessions tight now is planning a Zoo Tycoon game (i know the most recently was made for xbox , but it took all the fun by not letting the player to build it's exhibit and many other limitations which i'll not go deeper here) . So , if you could make the next game for PC , which 30 or 40 animals would you pick to make the base one ? Here's is my list (keep in mind the subspecies would have the same animations) :

Lion - West African , Maasai , Asiatic , Transvaal , Barbary
Tiger - Bengal , Siberian , Sumatran , Indochinese , South China
Otter - Amazonian River , North American , Asian Small Clawed , Sea
Flamingo - Greater , Caribbean , Lesser
Lynx - Canada , Eurasian , Iberian
Anaconda - Green , Yellow
Python - Burmese , Albino Burmese , Indian
Gorilla - Mountain , Western Lowland , Eastern Lowland , Cross River
Duck - Mallard , Mandarin , Perching , Stifftail ,
Elephant - African Bush , African Forest , Indian , Sumatran , Sri Lankan
Chimpanzee - Central , Bonobo , Western , Eastern
Chameleon - Common , Namaqua , Veiled , Panther , Indian , West Usambara Two Horned
Lhama
Eyelash Viper
Jaguar - Pantanal
Gazelle - Thomson's , Grant's , Dorcas
Rhino - Eastern Black , Northern White , Javan , Indian , Sumatran
Bush Viper
Lemur - Ring Tailed , Ruffed , Red Ruffed , Diademed Sifaka
Hippopotamus
Alpaca
Bear - Grizzly , Polar , Tibetan Blue , Kermode , Japanese Black
Nile Crocodile
Peafowl - Green , Indian
Owl - Snowy , Barn Owl , Pharoh Eagle Owl , Great Grey
Galapagos Giant Tortoise
Giraffe - West African , Angolan , Masai
Turtle - Red Eared Slider , Alligator Snapping ,
Zebra - Common
Macaw - Blue and Yellow , Hyacinth , Great Green , Military , Scarlet

And if you have ideias for expansions packs with a theme you can post that too ! further i'll update with specific themes ! .

May I suggest that instead of 30 different families of animal species and subspecies, use 30 different species of animals per game/expansion packs. There's no need to have all subspecies of lion in one game, Xbox Zoo Tycoon did that and, we had seven lion subspecies whose lineup could have been put to use instead for cheetahs, jaguars, leopards etc. It just makes the game boring to the average player who probably won't be able to distinguish species and subspecies.

Graphics of the Xbox version you don't need to get extra packs, of animals (meaning all animals will come with the game and you can design the exhibits

The game isn't out yet but they do need your support. Also, if anyone here knows anything about programming in C# or Unity, shoot them a message.
