Dudley Zoo and Castle

    Hi guys, I'm writing my 3rd year dissertation on Dudley Zoo and Castle and I was wondering if any of you could help me out.

    First of all I've been looking at the Dudley Official Guide Books and the earliest I've managed to find is from 1968. Are there any earlier or does anyone know when the Official Guides made by the council started to be published?

    The first edition of the Dudley Zoo Guidebook was published in 1937, the year the zoo opened.

    I completed your survey but was a little confused with what the topic was, I'm not sure what your interest is? Is it the zoo or the castle?

    Thank you for taking part :) My interest is primarily the castle but the zoo can't be avoided and will therefore crop up from time to time.
