England's Places - Historic Architectural Photos

    A few years back, the Historic England archive (previously a part of English Heritage) digitised their collection of architectural photographs, which have now been put online. Mostly this consists of photographs of churches and stately homes, but the occasional zoo makes its way into the collection.

    So far, I've only managed to find Dudley Zoo:

    However, I worked on this project, and pretty sure I remember at least ZSL London being in there too, but haven't had time to work through all the Camden boxes yet to find it! :D

    Thanks for uploading the link. Very interesting to see the Tectons used for housing Polar Bear actually occupied and the old Penguin pool was a rival to the ZSL Lubetkin Penguin Pool. Which was built first?

    London's Lubetkin Penguin Pool dates from 1934, three years before Dudley Zoo opened.
