Reported by the mirror newspaper on 25th July, an escaped "leopard" which is actually an African Serval Cat was seen in a garden in Molesey, Surrey.
The animal belongs to a local private keeper apparently.

If I remember it was caught and returned, it escaped whilst being looked after by a friend whilst the owner was away.

If it was my garden it appeared in, I would have kept it haha

Yes indeed, it was caught fairly quickly, it was a relatively "tame" animal which is often walked on a lead (though most probably not out in public), it`s owner had left someone else in charge of it`s care, as Stu said.
