Five elk calves were released today in the swamp of Lille Vildmose near Aalborg.
The aim is to contribute to countering the threat posed several invasive plant species.
The area, surrounded by a fence of 30 kilometers, will be accessible to visitors, who can observe the new tenants of the swamp, although the authorities have urged touring the area by car at low speed and without leaving the vehicle.
