Only 18/50 but Pairi Daiza & Wroclaw are on the agenda for next year's trip - would like to see Leipzig again

Now that (the fact you have visited fewer than me) genuinely surprises me!

30/50, with most omissions from France, Spain, and Sweden. Wrocław last week was my most recent addition – a stellar zoo (not just collection-wise) and definite contender for Europe's top 10.

Not really, that 0,5 belongs to Apeneheul as I've been only in their service yard :D but since we've been there with animal transport, so there was, unfortunately, no time to walkthrough the zoo itself. So technically, I was there, but I can't really count it as a visit, hence the 0,5.

If everything goes well, I would like to add a few more to my list in autumn but we'll see.

Yes @TeaLovingDave, you’d be surprised where he hasn’t been! For example when myself and devilfish visited Exmoor a couple weeks back it was his first visit!!!!!!

I've now reached 20/50, with all the Belgian & Dutch zoos, 5 of the German zoos, 2 of the Spanish zoos and 5 of the UK zoos (just need to visit Howletts!)

42/50. Loro Parque is probably my biggest omission.

You are certainly not! But I am in no rush, given the fact that my whole life will be connected with zoos work-wise (ok this one is not certain, but let's say it's very likely) so I'm sure I'll visit them at some point (maybe apart from those aquariums).

I'm on 12 currently. I've got all of them in the Netherlands, Belgium and the German Ruhr region, plus a couple of others in the rest of Germany. There are very early plans to add a good few to the list but it may take some time to get there!

As of today and a visit to Ostrava, my total stands at 31/50; the other three collections visited were Pairi, Wroclaw and Dvur, the last of these being the one I did not plan at the time of my quoted post.

41/50 for me currently - the exceptions are all the Nordic zoos listed (my only Scandinavian zoos are Givskud, Copenhagen and one of the little ones in Malmo), a few of the French entries (Besancon, Nausicaa, and Nesles) and the two 'less-obvious' German entries of Chemnitz and Grafenau.

Of the missing zoos, Helsinki is probably the one that calls me the most, rightly or wrongly.
