Yes, they must have just gotten the Golden Lion tamarins because when I asked in December, they said they didn't have any. This must be why they have been so many renovations on the treetop monkey enclosures recently. Maybe so that the emperor and golden lion tamarins can move in?

Arguably one of the best pieces of news for 2020. Wild Cat Conservation Centre has imported a pair of Clouded Leopard!! From the zoo's Facebook page:

I contacted Wildlife HQ and confirmed that they no longer have Blackbuck. The zoo's small herd moved to another facility and their enclosure is now under-construction for a new exhibit.

There was a small segment on Australian breakfast television (of all places:rolleyes:) today that announced that Sydney Zoo now have two Asian Small-clawed Otters. They moved into the former Capybara enclosure. The Capybara are still at the zoo and have been mixed with the capuchins.

Before I forget again, D'Aguilar Wildlife also have Blackbuck.

The zoo had an actual otter enclosure though, did they not? Why put the otters into the Capybara enclosure instead of into the enclosure they made specifically for them?

The capybara exhibit was initially intended for the otters (near the red pandas) but was used for the capybara temporarily as the otters weren’t at the zoo for opening day.

Taronga Zoo now have Lions in their new African Savannah area. From the article:

“Lions return to Taronga Zoo with the opening of new African wildlife precinct. The $32 million precinct also houses giraffes, zebras, and meerkats, and is designed to teach visitors about the conservation challenges faced by these animals.”

3.0 Servals are now at Wildlife HQ - a six-week-old kitten who keepers are hand raising and a pair of older brothers. All of them arrived from Altina Wildlife Park.

I believe Crocodylus Park doesn’t have any tigers currently. Their male Rama died in May 2019 at the age of 17 (Security Check) and their female Durga passed away today at the age of 18 (Security Check).
