I see that Australia Zoo apparently now has no cotton-top tamarins, but five common marmosets. Can you shed any light on where they might have come from? And does anyone know what happened to the cotton-tops?

The two male cotton-tops went to Alma Park Zoo and the female went to Cairns Tropical Zoo.

    :)

They may have come from the University of New England at Armidale, that is where they were originally looking at the 15 marmosets.

Really? Do the universities in Australia test on monkeys?

well can you tell me how it is possible to be able to be allowed to have marmoset monkeys? can you apply to have a permit if you have them on "public display" in some way? How do some people get to have them "privately" owned?

    Marmosets are not pets.
