Images have been released of a false killer whale at the aquarium, jumping out of its tank, staff quickly wrapped the animal in a wet blanket, and successfully lifted the animal back into its tank. Of course the media are portraying the incident as an escape attempt by the whale. 'Desperate' dolphin leaps from tank
would a whale really try to escape by jumping into a crowd of Japanese people? I thought it was interesting how the other Pseudorca and dolphins gathered at the viewing window to watch the one on the ground outside (anthropomorphistically, as if to see if s/he was alright).
