I've been wanting to do this for a while because I love music and play piano, guitar and bass guitar. I was just wandering what type of music everyone is into.

This is probably my favorite song right now, it's called ice-cream and is by Muscles.

    And the acoustic version.

This is another one I like

And who doesn't like a bit of Kanye...

Sorry for having it all in Youtube clips but I couldn't think of any other way to do it.

I'm a big rock fan and generally like all aspects of it.

Some of my favourite artists are:
    Foo Fighters
    Kings of Leon
    The Beatles
    U2
    Red Hot Chili Peppers
    AC/DC
    The Killers
    Oasis
    Nirvana
    Guns N Roses
    Queens of the Stone Age
    Eagles of Death Metal
    REM

Mostly big American bands, but there's nothing wrong with that :)

It's cool that you have Empire of the Sun. Nick Littlemore is also in Pnau. I didn't realise they were known in other countries. They came 4th on the Triple J Hottest 100.

I've seen The Foo Figters, U2, the killers, Oasis, Queens of the stone age and eagles of death metal live. With the exception of the killers I liked all of them.

My favourites are 2 bands actually, Metallica and Rammstein:

    And this is a lady I particualrly like, also because she has lived for quite a while here in emmen, and has been building up a career in the USA for some while now;

I like most stuff, but I think all the old school rock music is the best, like Queen and Meatloaf.
However I think Rammstein are brilliant too.

I hate Queen, and anything played on bagpipes.

I like most sorts of music, apart from rap. My favourtie kind is Motown, but I also like Hawkwind (blame my brother for this, he is a big fan) and go to see them every year.

As for people who can play instruments and read music, my musical knowlwdge would not fill an atom.

I love Techno music as it interlocks with my dancing.

    I'm a big fan of Cascada and D-block & S-Te-fan
though I quite like the Headhunterz , The Prophet, The Viper, G-town Madness, The Dark Oscillators and Coone. They are tons of others as well.

I'm afraid my taste in music would be closer to that of your grandparents! I try to figure out what my grandchildren are listening to these days but I'm not having much luck. My track record on determining who will be popular isn't great--I remember telling my friends that the Beatles and Barbra Streisand were just mediocre.

    I LOVE David Bowie.

His albums 'Diamond Dogs' and 'Heroes' are surely two of the best alternative albums ever made!!
