Feeding the animals... allowed or not?

    If you like..do you burst forth from the bushes on unsuspecting visitors and photograph them just as they are throwing the food? Seriously, you should be a zoo volunteer if they have them there. It would also give you closer connections with what's going on...;)

    Mainly wish they'd remembered their teeth that day and that us young whippersnappers would keep off the zoo lawn...

    I've never been a fan of Giraffe feeding stations. It's almost impossible to see the giraffes be giraffes as they are always waiting at the elevated decks for people to feed them.

    I think they are rather 'gimmicky' and it does reduce their normal behaviour. I would rather see them being fed browse in the traditional fashion too, but then I'm not an excited 8 year old...
