Taronga Zoo fifi turns 60

    happy birtday to fifi. i should have stuck this in the chester chimp thread, lol.
    the old girl came to australia from singapore in 1957 and is still one of taronga's most dignified chimps.
    her old age is a credit to the zoo's primate division

    Thats a very good age for a Chimpanzee to reach. Could be some sort of record? A certain zoo in the North of England had a very old female called 'Meg' who died a few years back- she was in her fifties and had great(x2?) grandchildren living in the large group with her.
