    Bad news on the COVID-19 zoo front guys, the first cases of gorillas contracting COVID have been reported from San Diego zoo.

    It remains to be seen what this will mean for the exhibition of gorillas in zoos or the in-situ conservation efforts and ecotourism operations to see the great apes in the wild:
