Video posted on Facebook about their lion pride. Zazzi is now 20 years old and Kumali is 17. I'm guessing Mishka and Niyika are Zazzi's daughters that arrived with her from Longleat (Originally called Nala & Stumpy I think) If correct then they are only 12/18 months younger than Kumali.

Following on from the above comment, Flamingo Land have started a short video documentary series entitled "View From The Zoo" in which keepers give a behind the scenes talk of their animals. So far they have shown Black Rhino (briefly), African Lions and Common Hippo

Tisa and Mahiri are both 2018 calves whereas Remus was a 2019 calf. Unfortunately Mahiri is now deceased.

    The 2017 calf is Melvin

Looking at one last winter trip £8 last year and £5 just a few years ago winter this year £20? Appreciate zoos are desperate for cash family four ticket £32 last winter £80 this winter . £20 is still fine I think for day out at zoo. Not sure family's see it that way

Don't like it-don't go then. You said yourself, times are hard and about to get harder. They won't be open after Wednesday again, so your point is essentially moot.

@GaryA tbf @woody505 was just pointing out the price discrepancy and families could be put off the big price increase(I certainly wouldn't be paying that for my family). I appreciate entry prices will go up for most zoos especially seen as any that have fairground rides will lose out on that income and onsite catering facilities may also have to remain shut.
