An aardvark was born march 30, and it is mother reared. Its the first young to the new pair, imported from Tanzania in 2009.

The 2 Black Rhinos which should send back to Africa, will stay at Frankfurt ! Transport-costs have become much more expensive so it has been dicided to keep male Kalusho ( 28 ) and female Tsororo ( 27 ) at Frankfurt !
Good to find out after just returning thinking best get a shift on to see them! Still, had a really good time. Construction meant that [I think] the bears were off-limits and I think some birds up by the bird house may have been. Kiwis were off-show so didn't see them, however the Ploughshare tortoise are on-show near the viewing window of the kiwi breeding area/tree-kangaroo. Pictures to follow from my trip tomorrow.
