    Yeah, I'd call that teasing too. They do this in the Arctic ring of life in Detroit, supposidly for enrichment. I think it benefits the public more than the animals though.
    It's like tying someone up and leaving the key just out of reach lol.

    Blijdorp had a similar exhibit with mongolian mice and pallas' cats :)

    The Pallas kittens seemed to enjoy chasing the mice along the glass and the mice didn't seem to care one bit...

    I have taken this video on last saturday and I cannot imagine that they have filled the indoor pools with soil within 4 days.....

    I will post some pics today to illustrate the indoor enclosure....
