Seeing as how the thread of Tarongas giraffes was so successful I thought I would ask if anyone can update my knowledge of the giraffes at Monarto.
I have recorded that a calf was born i Feb 2008 to Milaika. What was the gender of this calf and does it have a name. Another calf called Tolsiens was born in Feb 2008 to Mutanda. What was its gender?
And have there been any births since?
    Thanks

I think there are 25, 13 male and 12 female. The current breeding male Tambo has been taken off exhibit (to stop breeding for a while) and he has fathered the last 17 babies born at Monarto.

According to ISIS there have been three births in the last twelve months. Would these be the ones born in 2008?

Does anybody know how many births there have been in 2010/2011 and 2012 at Monarto and who and when they were born to.

    Cheers:)
