A British biotech company wants to release genetically modified mosquitoes to kill off a Dengue Fever-carrying species in the Florida Keys.

Many of the local residents are opposed. Are they justified in the opposition? Are they being short-sighted to a good thing? Are there possible dangers to the Florida ecosystem from this?

This scenario is likely to become more common place as GMOs roll out from the labs and into the real world.
