    Greetings all

We are keen Herpetologists and among the species in our collection is Basiliscus plumifrons. We are planning a trip to Holland and were wondering whether Artis still have this species in the collection?
I found Artis' own Webpage less than helpful in this respect.
Zootierliste.de (English version) lists this species in the collection, but that was also the case of Bristol Zoo Where this species has not been part of the collection for years.

    Best regards
    Steven ad Sofie

If we should believe Zootierliste, this species is still kept at Artis. It has been already a few years ago I visited Artis ( 2013 ) and if I remember right at least at that time I saw the species.

I've seen the species earlier this year in the walkthrough primate house, so it should be still there. You may need to take your time to spot it as it is quite a big planted space.
