A green turtle returns to Blackpool Sea Life Centre after spending fifteen years in Brighton Sea Life Centre.

This turtle, alleged to be eighty years old, had also spent thirty years in the London Zoo Aquarium (where I saw it on countless occasions).

    See link below for details.

Where was she kept in London zoo? My memory isn't perfect, but I can't seem to remember anywhere that could accommodate her too well. Thanks :)

The green turtles left London Zoo in 1984; in those days, the aquarium was divided into three halls, the Freshwater Hall, Seawater Hall and Tropical Hall. The marine turtle tank was the last one on the lefthand side in the Seawater Hall just before you reached the Tropical Hall.

It now houses various large freshwater fish such as pacu.

I remember there were always three or four large turtles in there, of more than one species, maybe Loggerhead as well as Green?
