I am Jon Allyn, Animal Conservationist. I would like to meet others who are experienced with Critically Endangered Species of Reptiles and Amphibians. I have a recommendation letter from a local zoo to help acquire both funding and breeding stock for new projects. I would love to collaborate internationally. My last project produced #16 Neurergus kaiseri for a paludarium at a local zoo. Thank you. Jon
Hi. I have 25+ years exp. keeping and breeding reptiles and amphibians. My expertise is care, husbandry and breeding. I noted a recommendation letter from a zoo in my first post hoping to make domestic and international contacts for acquiring new specimens for my next project; a critically endangered or endangered species of herpetofauna: and also to source potential grants and funding for breeding.
Hi. I work with all species of herpetofauna. I have also worked with penguins in captivity. My brother works as an underwater cinematographer with Jonathan Bird in Massachusetts. Thanks for your interest in speaking with me. Jon
To all: if you have access domestically or internationally to legal specimens of endangered reptiles and/or amphibians: please contact me directly. This includes government agencies, conservation group, zoos, reptile and amphibian breeders (CB) and private individuals looking to increase captive populations in zoo settings. I am also interested in grant funding; and I do accept small private donations for these projects. The N. kaiseri project was fully funded by myself and the newts were donated without any fee. It helps when people care. I wish I could dive in to turtles. I would like to get 3.6 CB Blanding's turtles. They are pricey! If you need info or have questions please contact me here. Thank you! Jon
